Your content
What you write is yours. You give us permission to store it and process it only to run wake for you: backup, restore, and the AI features you use. We don't claim ownership of anything you write.
wake+ subscriptions
- wake+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple ID.
- It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel it in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Refunds are handled by Apple.
AI features
Themes, emotions, Reflections, and To-Do suggestions are generated automatically and can be wrong. They're prompts for your own reflection, not medical, psychological, or professional advice. If you're struggling, please talk to a professional.
Fair use
Don't try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to store anything illegal.
No warranty
wake is provided as is. We work hard to keep your journal safe and backed up, but we can't guarantee the service will always be available or error-free. Keep an export if something matters to you. To the extent the law allows, Pennoratory LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using wake.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms, and will change the date above when we do. You can stop using wake and delete your account at any time.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA.
